Requirements

You must be over 18 years of age (All our positions are adult roles). For information on Work Experience or Traineeships.

You will need the following prior to commencing your application:

  • a computer with connection to the internet

  • access to your emails

  • a mobile phone with network coverage

  • a quiet place to where you can concentrate without interruption

  • a current, up to date resume with previous work experience

  • details of references

  • personal information

  • 100 points of identification

  • if you are NOT an Australian or New Zealand Citizen/Permanent Resident, you require a passport and VISA information

  • details of driver and other licences

  • educational background and certificates

  • information on your current state of health

  • tax File number

  • superannuation account detais

  • bank account details

You will be required to complete some or all of the following as part of the recruitment process. Please note there maybe further selection and assessment criteria that may apply depending on the role.

*Assessment centre for group activity, interview and verification: 1 Hour
Reference, security and health checks:
Induction and on-boarding: 1.5 Hours
Final review and job offer: 30 Minutes

Other important information

The person applying for the role must complete all parts of the application and assessments without assistance. This will be verified at various stages of the application.

Candidates who are not successful during any part of the application will be notified. Results from assessments and reasons for not progressing with the application will not be provided.

Candidates who are unsuccessful may reapply in 12 months.

Online application, assessments and interview (can be telephone interview instead of online)

This process is self-evaluating and should take no longer than 45 minutes to complete. This section can be completed on line and does not require you to attend a OzStaff site.

Reference, security and health checks

OzStaff will initiate Reference and Security Checks as soon as you make an application. You will be informed of relevant health checks and where to have them administered on application. The outcomes of these assessments will be evaluated prior to step three of this process.

Assessment Centre, Group Activity, Interview and Verification, Induction and On-boarding, Final offer and review

The final stage of the process requires you to attend your local OzStaff site. Appointments will be made in consultation with you. You need to allow a minimum of 1 hour to finalise your application, induction and offer of employment.
